These individual units, called air handlers, then pull air in from the room and use the coolant to cycle out cool air.
These mini split systems are quiet and efficient. The central condenser is much smaller than a traditional central air unit, making them ideal for city dwellers with limited outdoor space. The coolant is moved to the wall units through tubing that can run through a small hole in your wall, eliminating the need for messy duct installations.
