Climatech recently completed a project in partnership with Heroes Supporting Heroes for the Mahafkey Family! Karen had reached out requesting an appointment to have her furnace checked where we unfortunately detected carbon monoxide. Karen’s husband. Dale, is currently on deployment in Kuwait. With help from Lennox, who donated a new heating and cooling system, we were able to help this family with a brand new furnace and air conditioner, completely free of charge. Thank you for your service Dale! It was our pleasure to help your family.
Fall Furnace Giveaway
Climatech would like to thank our community for all of the support this year by giving back. Our company will be selecting one family in need to receive a new home heating system. No one should have to worry about heating their home! Learn more.
Heroes Supporting Heroes
Climatech recently completed a project in partnership with Heroes Supporting Heroes for a disabled U.S. Navy Veteran with Parkinson’s disease! Comfort Supply Inc. generously donated equipment for a full HVAC system, both heating and air conditioning, with a value of $6,000. And we donated the labor and materials as part of the Climatech Cares program.
Pancreatic Cancer Action Network
November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month. As in year’s past, Climatech will be donating $50 to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network for every furnace purchased and installed by our company during the month of November. We do this to support the fight against pancreatic cancer in memory of our owner’s mother, Barbara Taback, who passed away in 2014 from this horrible disease.
Heat for Heroes
Now through February 14, 2020, Climatech is partnering with the non-profit, Heroes Supporting Heroes, to benefit local service men and women, veterans and their families through the Heat for Heroes Campaign.
Climatech, Comfort Supply Inc. and American Standard are helping qualified individuals who apply through Heroes Supporting Heroes to receive a forced air gas furnace.
The program is designed to assist active military members, veterans or direct, live-in family members.
Pancreatic Cancer Action Network
On Sunday, September 9th, Climatech supported the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network’s 2017 PurpleStride Pittsburgh race as a bronze sponsor in memory of our owner’s mother, Barbara Taback. Barb passed away in 2014 from this disease, and we were doing our part to help PANCAN work toward their goal of doubling the survival rate of pancreatic cancer by the year 2020.
We also give back to PANCAN in our own special way. For every furnace purchased and installed by our company between Septmeber and November 30th, we donated $50 to support the fight against pancreatic cancer. #ClimatechCares
Heat for Heroes
In early 2018, Climatech partnered with the non-profit, Heroes Supporting Heroes, to benefit local service men and women, veterans and their families through the Heat for Heroes Campaign.
Climatech and Lennox helped qualified individuals who applied through Heroes Supporting Heroes to receive a forced air gas furnace.
The program was designed to assist active military members, veterans or direct, live-in family members.
Can for Can Campaign
This past October, Climatech partnered with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank to donate canned goods to help the fight against hunger.
The Food Bank provides food assistance to over 120,000 individuals each month.
Thanks for fighting hunger with Climatech by donating to the Can for Can Campaign. Climatech service technicians collected canned goods October 1 through November 15. Our customers received $1 off any service for each canned good donated (up to $10 in savings per customer).
