As an HVAC Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting and selling HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air conditioning) systems and solutions to commercial and industrial clients. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, providing technical expertise, and achieving sales targets. You will collaborate with internal teams, including estimators, technicians, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales and Business Development:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the HVAC market segment
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by actively prospecting and qualifying leads
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends,, and competitive offerings.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers to secure orders.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Understand customer requirements, provide technical expertise, and recommend appropriate
  HVAC solutions.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information and ensure accurate system sizing
  and design.
• Collaborate with customers to address concerns, provide after-sales support, and ensure
  customer satisfaction
• Keep customers informed about new products, technology advancements, and industry
  developments.

Technical Expertise and Solution Design:

• Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies, products, building codes, and industry standards
• Provide technical guidance and support to customers, including system design, equipment selection, and energy efficiency solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet customer specifications
• Prepare accurate and detailed project proposals, including system specifications, pricing and
  delivery schedules.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with internal tams to ensure smooth project execution
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems
• Provide feedback and insights from the field to internal teams to support overall improvement efforts

5. Sales Reporting and Performance Monitoring

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for management review.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in HVAC sales or a similar technical sales role
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment and industry standards

We are seeking an HVAC Service Technician to become a part of our team. Qualified candidates will provide HVAC services with specific responsibility for identifying repair and/or replacement needs; installing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading HVAC systems and equipment; assisting other skilled trades; and ensuring that tools and materials are available at job site.  The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Climatech may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

General Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and repairs heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
• Monitors HVAC systems and operations, and ensures that routine preventive maintenance is performed according to established schedules and standards.
• Responds to hot and cold calls, then troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Checks, repairs and/or replaces valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes and other functional components of the system.

We are seeking an HVAC CAD Operator to become a part of our team. You will be responsible for all aspects of CAD which includes coordination and design for our Pittsburgh office.

Responsibilities:

• Design and layout of HVAC systems including duct work and piping for commercial and residential applications.
• Produce detailed coordination drawings for use by field superintendents and foremen.
• Perform site surveys and attend project meetings
• Interact with the sales and project management teams

We are seeking an HVAC Estimator to become a part of our team. You will be responsible for all aspects of HVAC estimation which includes taking off sheet metal, piping, and organizing vendor information to compile accurate estimates for potential commercial and industrial HVAC projects. This candidate must be well organized, hand-on, self-motivated and dependable with the drive to succeed in a challenging and fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately estimate plan/spec and design/build HVAC systems using computer estimating systems and other related software
• Maintain estimating logs and unit costs for all projects
• Establish and maintain vendor relationships
• Perform site surveys and attend pre-bid walkthroughs
• Interact with the sales and project management teams to insure all projects are performed under budget and according to plans and specifications

Qualifications:

• 5 + years of estimating experience in the HVAC industry with a proven track record is required
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and other construction documents
• Knowledge of different types of HVAC systems and their components
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Quickpen software and estimating systems preferred
• Thorough understanding of related trades for the purposes of coordinating various project estimates
